
Over its medieval city, the crystalline towers of progress rise, manifesting London as a patchwork of time and gesture, in between Elizabethan structures, brutalism, and technoid statements, all ageing under the same grey Victorian sky, where futuristic symbols found physicality through steel and glass, constituting shape as heterotopias in a fragmented field of islands.

There it lies with its pulsing veins of movement flowing like illuminated rivers along crooked paths of stone. And I am inside of it, following its streams. Now and then, stepping out, sneaking into islands of greenery through alleys and gateways, like an intruder into a subliminally coded world, following Alice through the rabbit hole.
