Tristan D. Grey is a fine artist and architect from Germany. Originally trained as a professional architect at the University for the Applied Sciences Münster in Münster, Germany and at the University for the Arts Berlin in Berlin, Germany, where he received his Dipl.-Ing. Architektur degree, he now works as a fine artist in the different media of drawing, painting, and photography, as well as digitally, as seen in his NFTs and GPS-drawings. He currently lives in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, where he owns and operates his home studio.
Grey has exhibited in group exhibitions in Zurich, Switzerland, and Berlin, Germany. His work addresses contemporary social issues such as women’s rights, the impacts of war, and mental health. Additionally, his work delves into themes of the constitution of memory, visual perception, and movement, focusing on figurative art. Grey’s multidisciplinary approach blends drawing, painting, photography, and digital media to create visually compelling and thought-provoking works, his use of materials includes oil and acrylic paint, graphite, charcoal, pastel, and chalk.
